Eating out and enjoying authentic Spanish food : I take you to local bars and restaurants so that you have the opportunity to taste a wide selection of “tapas” and wine. These are some of the people’s favourites: Spanish omelette, “serrano” ham, “chorizo”, prawns, meatballs, garlic chicken, fried peppers, “pescaíto frito” (small fried fish), “ensaladilla rusa” (Russian salad), “croquetas” (chicken and ham croquettes) and “gazpacho” (cold tomato soup).
Meeting and mixing with local people : I will be with you all day, so you will have ample opportunity to practice your Spanish, not only with me but also with my family and friends. If you don’t want to speak Spanish, don’t worry, I am fluent in English aswell!!!!
Walking/Trekking : there are lots of different routes around the area where we are staying. A very interesting place near Antequera is the Natural Park of “el Torcal”.
Arabic Spa-baths : you can spend a few hours relaxing in the Alhama Spa-baths, built as a modern replica of the old Arabic baths. If you prefer more specific treatment to help with arthritis, aches and pains, it can also be arranged.
Reflexology : to relieve stress and improve your health and general well being, try this gentle and relaxing therapy. I am a fully qualified Reflexologist and member of the I.F.R. (International Federation of Reflexologists).
